(WHITTIER, Calif.) - The State of California issued an Amber Alert today after a girl was abducted late Friday, July 31 2009, in Whittier. The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
13-year old Cynthia Irene Hernandez is a Hispanic female who stands five feet 11 inches tall. She weighs 240 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jean skirt, white tennis shoes, and brown prescription glasses.
The suspect is 45-year old Juan Cuella Hernandez, a Hispanic male, five foot eight inches tall, weighing 245 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing seen wearing gray slacks and a long sleeve dress shirt.
