After three months of renovations, Cinebarre executives cut the ribbon November 5 at the old Regal Movieland location, in the heart of Salem, on High and Marion Streets.
(SALEM, Ore.) - Cinebarre, the latest venue to open in Salem, promises to entertain the 18-and over crowd with the latest hit movies and a full restaurant menu, including beer and wine.
The grand opening tonight will feature A Christmas Carol, The Box and The Fourth Kind, among other new releases.
Although most showings will be of first-run films, Cinebarre's special events include important sports games, Oscar parties, and sometimes classics.
Another Cinebarre played The Shining for Halloween.

Manager Blake Hernandez said they expect downtown employees to stop by for lunch. The menu includes pizza, burgers, appetizers, and several local brews.
