The man who died, 57-year old Ju Feng was a Chinese national visiting the United States.
(CORVALLIS) - Oregon State Police troopers say they arrested a Corvallis man Friday on charges stemming from a March 2006 fatal motor vehicle crash on the Santiam Pass. 34-year old Pengcheng Wu of Corvallis will face charges for Criminally Negligent Homicide.
Police say Wu was the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet Prism four-door sedan that was westbound on Highway 20 near milepost 79 on March 18th 2006, at approximately 8:10 PM, when the vehicle apparently crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound 2006 GMC Yukon sport utility vehicle, driven by 65-year old Robert L. Morris of Bend.

A passenger in the Honda, 57-year old Ju Feng died at the scene. Feng was a Chinese national and was visiting the United States at the time of the collision.
Wu and two other passengers, 30-year old Jian Fang and 2-year old Julius Fang Wu, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Morris and his wife, 57-year old Carol L. Morris, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers from the Bend and Albany Patrol Offices of the Oregon State Police conducted the investigation and presented the information to a Linn County grand jury, which indicted Wu on July 6, 2006.
WU was lodged in the Linn County jail on $25,000 bail.
