Corvallis Police Asking For The Public’s Help in Locating Rape Suspect

Detectives fear Vicente Romero Leon may have more victims.

(CORVALLIS) - Corvallis police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 20-year-old Corvallis resident accused of sexual abusing a 12-year-old girl.

Corvallis police began a sexual assault investigation after encountering Vicente Romero Leon in the company of the 12-year-old female, under suspicious circumstances.

On August 13th, Leon was arrested and charged with Rape in the Second Degree, a Class B Felony, as a result of the investigation.

He was transported to the Benton County Correctional Facility and lodged on the above listed charge without incident.

Leon posted bail in the amount of $5,000, and was released from the BCCF.

On Thursday, he failed to appear for his investigation hearing.

Leon's last employer was Stahlbusch Island Farms.
