Keizer police say traffic enforcement is only one of several important components of traffic safety to keep Oregon roadways safe.
(KEIZER) - The Keizer Police Department will be presenting a free community presentation in Spanish on Oregon traffic laws, including information on obtaining an Oregon Driver’s License, as part of the educational component to seek voluntary compliance in reducing dangerous driving behavior and motor vehicle crashes.
The class will cover the basic rules of the road, the most commonly observed traffic violations, the most dangerous driving behaviors and information on how to prepare for the licensing test.
The class is free and registration is not required.
The class will be taught by two bilingual Keizer Police Officers, one of which is assigned to the Traffic Safety Unit.
The Keizer Police Department will not be issuing driver licenses.
The presentation will take place Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Keizer Police Department Auditorium, located at 930 Chemawa Road NE.
