The state medical examiner will conduct an autopsy this week.
(WOODBURN) - Police in Woodburn are investigating the death of a 2-month-old Woodburn boy.
Police and fire were called to the boy’s home by his 16-year-old mother just before 10:00 AM.
The mother told 911 dispatchers that her son was laying in her bed, not breathing.
She told police that she had laid him down for a nap, and when she returned two hours later noticed he wasn’t breathing.
The names of the child’s parents, both 16, are not being released until the investigation into the boy’s death is complete.
