Four Salem Teens Arrested After Car Break-in Spree

Police say all of the stolen goods from the vehicles were returned to their owners.

(SALEM) - Four Salem teenagers were arrested Friday morning after a series of car break-ins in northeast Salem.

Salem Police say the four were spotted breaking into a vehicle in the 3600 block of Beverly Ave. NE around 4:00 AM.

The four suspects ran from police, but were tracked down by a police K-9 unit and arrested.

Arrested were 18-year-olds Adolfo Mendoza, and Martin Alonzo Martinez.

Police did not release the names of two juvenile males arrested, ages 13 and 16

The four face charges of First-Degree theft, Criminal Mischief, two counts of Conspiracy, and seven counts of Unlawful Entry to Motor Vehicles.

The two teens under age 18 also were charged with breaking curfew.
