Keizer Police Holding Free Class on Oregon Driving Laws

The deadline to register is Wednesday, February 14th.

(KEIZER) - The Keizer Police Department will be presenting a free community presentation on Oregon traffic laws, including information on obtaining an Oregon Driver’s License, as part of the educational component to seek voluntary compliance in reducing dangerous driving behavior and motor vehicle crashes.

The class will cover the basic rules of the road, the most commonly observed traffic violations, the most dangerous driving behaviors and tips on how to prepare for the licensing test.

The class will be taught by two Keizer police officers assigned to the Traffic Safety Unit.

The Keizer Police Department will not be issuing driver licenses.

This class is free of charge; however, registration is required.

The class will be held on Saturday, February 17th 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Keizer Police Department Auditorium, 930 Chemawa Road Northeast.
