Five children were placed into protective custody.
(SALEM) - On Friday and Saturday, Marion County Street Crimes Detectives and Sheriff's Deputies, in conjunction with the Department of Human Services, made contact at several residences in Marion County where we had received numerous drug activity complaints recently.
During the sweep, 15 adults were arrested and 5 children we removed from known drug houses and placed into protective custody.
A variety of charges were filed, including; Possession of Controlled Substances, Theft by receiving, Frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, Criminal Mistreatment, Parole and Probation Violations, among other charges.
