(CLACKAMAS) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is using new technology in the search for Dena Kline.
80-year old Dena KlineThe sheriff's Office has asked the Clackamas County Emergency Management Center to utilize a telephone calling system that can call phone numbers in a pre-determined area to request information concerning Dena Kline.
The system, obtained from Dialogic Communication Center, was purchased with a grant and can utilized to broadcast information or to request information from specific areas by calling numbers in a certain zone.
The message is as follows:
"This is a special missing person alert from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. We are asking for you assistance in locating Dean Kline, an endangered elderly woman last seen early Saturday morning in the area of Center Street in Oregon City. She was driving a teal green 1990 Honda Accord with Idaho license K332915. Please check areas around your home and neighborhood for this vehicle. If you locate or spot Dena or her vehicle, please call 911."
The sheriff's office is currently targeting phone numbers around the Oregon City area.
