(WOODBURN) - Woodburn and Hubbard Fire Districts responded on a report of an apartment fire at 1469 Park Ave, Apt #10 on Saturday afternoon.
Upon arrival crews found a burning mattress had been removed from the apartment.
Firefighters extinguished what active fire was still in the room and prevented further damage to the structure and contents.
Woodburn Fire District responded with 3 engines, 1 ladder, 1 air unit and 1 support unit.
Hubbard Fire District responded with 1 engine on the mutual response.
Damage from the fire was confined to the room of origin and smoke damage to the apartment.
Woodburn Fire District estimates the damage to the apartment is $10,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Woodburn Fire District.
