(SALEM) - Investigators with the Marion County Sheriff's Office say they have identified a suspect in a homicide from December 2nd, 2006.
18-year-old Juan Manual Lopez-Pacheco has been identified as the suspect in the case, according to Spokesman Kevin Rau.
"Lopez-Pacheco is known to associate with the Brown Pride Raza (BPR) gang and goes by the moniker of “Pelon.”. Lopez-Pacheco’s whereabouts are currently unknown and the Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating him."
Lidia Gonzalez-MartinezThe body of 26-year-old Abenamar Velazquez-Ramierz was found along Dunsmere Dr SE near Macleay road on that day.
Rau says another person of interest in this case is Lopez-Pacheco’s mother, 34-year-old Lidia Gonzalez-Martinez.
According to investigators, she has an extensive criminal history and is known to use the following AKAs; Maria Asoncion-Valencia, Lilia Pacheco-Vargas; Maria Gonzalez, Guadalupe Carrillo; Alejandra Carrasco; Laticia Yolanda Ramirez; Patricia Marentes; Lidia Gonzalez-Martinez; Lorena Zanchez; Lidia Martinez Gonzales; Cristina Lopez-Roblez; Yesica Morales.
No additional details of the investigation are available to be released at this time. Any further information released in this case will come from the Marion County District Attorney’s Office.
