(SANTIAM PASS) - A Salem-area woman was seriously injured Saturday morning after she lost control of her car and crashed with a sport utility vehicle on Highway 20 in the Santiam Pass area.
OSP says at approximately 11:15 AM, a 2002 Toyota Camry driven by 20-year-old Heather MacArthur, from Salem, was eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 78 when she lost control.
The car slid and rotated across the centerline into the path of a westbound 2000 Ford Expedition.
The right front corner of the Ford Expedition crashed into the right rear of the Toyota Camry.
MacArthur was seriously injured and transported by air ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend.

The Ford Expedition driver, 60-year-old Glen Miller, from Bend, was not injured.
One of his two passengers was transported by a family member to a hospital for an examination.

Oregon State Police Senior Trooper Mike Brady investigated the crash and cited MacArthur for Failure to Drive Within Traffic Lane.
