(EUGENE, Ore. ) - The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who are wanted on Attempted Murder, First Degree Robbery, First Degree Burglary, Unlawful Use of a Firearm, and Menacing after an incident yesterday afternoon on Barker Rd in Eugene.
At approximately 3:32 PM, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received a call from 64-year-old James Mahoney advising he returned to his house after working in his pasture and found two males armed with handguns in his house.
A round was discharged from one of the firearms as the two males fled the residence.
The suspects left in a dirty red or maroon 1990’s sports coupe with a partial license plate of either 757 or 755.
No one was injured during the incident.
One of the suspects was described as male with a medium complexion, mid 20’s, 5’10, medium build. Wearing tan long sleeve shirt and tan pants.
The investigation is on-going and Detectives from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office are handling the case.
