Oregon College Football Team Inviting Women to Hands-On Football Training

The Willamette University coaching staff will conduct a day of learning and playing the game of football.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The Willamette University Football team would like to invite the women of the Salem and surrounding community to learn more about the game of football in a hands-on teaching and coaching environment.

The coaching staff will conduct a day of learning and playing the game of football.

ABSOLUTELY NO MEN ALLOWED!

The 2007 Women’s Clinic will be held on Saturday, August 4th at Kaneko Auditorium & on Sparks Field on the campus of Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.

The cost of the clinic is $35.00 with Pre-Registration or $40 at the door.

All proceeds will be used to help fund the 2007-2008 Bearcat Football Program.

The curriculum will include rules seminar, equipment demonstration, drills, position instruction, offense, defense and special teams strategy sessions.

The day will culminate with a friendly competition and a social hour across the street at the Ram Restaurant & Brewery.

Saturday, August 4th Schedule:

4:30 PM: Registration begins

5:00 PM: Welcome by Coach Speckman -- Program Introduction -- Q & A -- Game Rules -- Coach Speakers - (Offense - Defense) -- Recruiting -- Football Fashion --Raffle

6:40 PM: Walk to Field

7:00 PM: Football Drill Stations

8:00 PM: Group Picture Closing Remarks Reception @ Ram Restaurant & Brewery

Dress: Casual -- sneakers and shorts recommended.

Water and Snacks will be provided.
