(SALEM, Ore. ) - A Salem woman, who had just been released from the Marion County Jail, is back behind bars after stealing a car.
Salem police say at 5:32 AM Tuesday, three females were arrested for stealing a car from Coral Ave. NE, near Silverton Rd.
25-year-old Cassie Acosta, accompanied by two juvenile females, took the car that was parked on Coral Ave.
Officers close to the area found the car and stopped it at Silverton Rd. NE and Evergreen St. NE. The three females were taken into custody.
Remarkably, Cassie Acosta just served 13 months in prison for auto theft.
Additionally she was just released from the Marion County Jail 5 1/2 hours earlier for failing to report to her Parole Officer after being released from prison.
Cassie Acosta was taken to the Marion County Jail.
One juvenile was taken to the Marion County Juvenile facility and the other was released to a parent.
