Kelli Bryan walked out on her own, unharmed.

(OLALLIE LAKE, Ore.) - The search for a missing hiker in the Olallie Lake area is over and the 21-year old Linfield College student is alive and well.

Upwards of 60 searchers had responded to the area to search for Kelli Bryan. She had a job in the nearby area and is considered an experienced hiker.

It is reported that she walked out on her own without assistance. Bryan had worn a T-shirt and jeans. She did not carry overnight gear or extra supplies.

Fortunately, weather conditions were reasonable with temperatures in the 50's and scattered showers.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office crews leading the rescue efforts had been joined by search and rescue teams from Linn and Jefferson Counties.

The Oregon National Guard launched an OH-58 Kiowa helicopter this morning to assist in the search over Olallie Lake near Detroit. Additionally, the Guard has a UH-60L Blackhawk on standby to extract if necessary once found.

The search got underway Wednesday afternoon. They searched an area that encompasses more than 300 square miles with varying terrain.
