(VANCOUVER, Wa.) - Police in Washington say they are looking for a family that fled Clark County on September 7th after the father, Jeff Spady, was charged with numerous counts of Rape of a Child 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree.
It is reported that he and his wife, Kim Spady, have their four minor children who had previously been placed in the state's custody due to the pending sexual assault case.
A felony warrant has been issued for Jeff regarding those charges. There is no warrant for Kim Spady at this time; however police say that she has been ordered by the court system not to have custody of the children.
Police say the children were last seen getting into their mother's dark blue 2001 Ford Expedition, with Washington license plate 146 RKK. They have not been seen since.
Information from family members suggests Jeff and Kim may have acquired a 20 foot camper/trailer, possible a 90's model, white with orange stripes, unknown make, unknown plate. They may be traveling to Canada via unknown route. Police say some family members may be assisting them in concealing the children.
Jeff Spady is described by relatives as a "survivalist" who is knows plenty about camping, fishing etc. He is also known to own numerous firearms to include high powered rifles however; it is unknown if Jeff has firearms in his possession at this time.
