Vancouver Cheerleading Coach Arrested for Sexual Misconduct

Neil Finger made his first court appearance today.

(VANCOUVER, Wash. ) - A Vancouver, Washington cheerleading coach has been arrested on two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor in the first degree, after a mother of a 17-year-old girl read about it in her diary.

Vancouver police arrested 28-year-old Neil Finger Tuesday night. He is the owner and director of the Vancouver Cheer Academy.

According to court documents, the encounters with the former student allegedly included sexual intercourse.

Finger posted bail, and the judge told him not to have contact with any minors.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 9th.
