(LONDON) - British authorities have launched a Website to warn children about the dangers of putting their personal information on social networking sites such as MySpace.
The site, setup by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, a British police agency set up to tackle child sex abuse, teaches children about the the dangers of revealing too much information about themselves online.
It tells them not to give away their real name, full address, cell phone number and to think before posting their pictures.
The site also warns children to avoid using a webcam when they talk to strangers online and not to arrange to meet people who contact them in cyberspace.
