(WOODBURN, Ore. ) - Two drivers were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 99E south of Woodburn.

At approximately 2:25 PM a 1988 Isuzu driven by 51-year-old Terry L. Magers, from Sweet Home, was southbound on Highway 99E near Howell Prairie Road when it crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a 1999 Chevrolet pickup driven by 29-year-old Eliborio Dolores-Nieto, from Durham. Both drivers were seriously injured.
Magers was transported by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Dolores-Nieto was transported by ambulance to Salem Hospital.
Oregon State Police troopers from the Salem Area Command office are continuing the investigation in which alcohol is believed may be a contributing factor on part of both drivers. Source: Oregon State Police
