Early Registration Deadline for Conference

The conference is presented by the Central Oregon Employer Council.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Businesses will save money by registering for the Oregon Employer Council annual state conference for business before April 1st. The education conference, which is open to all Oregon employers, will take place May 5th and 6th, 2008, at Bend’s new Riverhouse Resort & Conference Center.

Topics will include an immigration update (compliance), wage and hour laws, interviewing, discipline and discharge, performance appraisals, an Oregon economic forecast from Oregon’ chief economist, business ethics, demonstrating courage and many other classes.

The conference agenda features four general session speakers that will touch on diversity, living a happier healthier life, successful organizations and bringing your spirit to work. An exhibitors’ gallery will display products and services of interest to Oregon employers.

Early registration is $249 and includes all education courses and course materials, registration materials, exhibit gallery, social events, several meals, awards banquet, entertainment and break refreshments. Early registrations are due by April 1st to receive the discount. After April 1st the price is $299.

The conference is presented by the Central Oregon Employer Council. The agenda was designed by employers specifically for business owners, managers, supervisors and human resource professionals.
