(SALEM, Ore.) - Honeywood Winery’s 2006 Pinot Noir wine was awarded Best of Show Pinot Noir during the 2008 Astoria Seafood & Wine Festival. Honeywood also received a Gold Medal for its Oregon Pear Wine.
President and Winemaker Marlene Gallick states "This is our second best of show award for our wine this year and we are very excited. The pear wine is one of our best sellers, we have seen sales climb since 2005 when the pear became Oregon’s state fruit. We like to refer to the pear wine as Oregon in a glass."
The 2006 Pinot Noir has a price point of $24 and the Oregon Pear Wine is priced at $12 and can be purchased direct from the winery.
