The preliminary investigation appears to indicate that a 1997 Subaru Impreza with 3 passengers, driven by 48-year old Katherine Knox of Haines, Oregon, was traveling westbound on Highway 30 when it veered across the road into the eastbound lanes where a group of 3 motorcycles were traveling. OSP Senior Trooper Jeff Spencer says he stopped the 2002 Honda Accord two-door at 5:45 PM Sunday for traveling 121 mph westbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 304.
