	        <title> There's nothing wrong with America that a new Constitution won't fix</title>
<description> To the end of his life, Albert Einstein's best friend at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton was the mathematician and logician Kurt Godel.

In 1947, when Godel was about to go through his citizenship hearing, he revealed to Einstein and economist Oskar Morgenstern, that he had discovered flaws in the Constitution that would make it possible for the U.S. to become a dictatorship.

<title> The Abu Salim Massacre: Cables on Libya's Continued Impunity for 1996 Killings</title>
<description> Two days ahead of calls to protest the Gaddafi regime in a “Day of Rage” on February 17, members of the Committee of the Families of the Victims of the Abu Salim Massacre came out to protest.

Libyan attorney and human rights activist Fathi Terbil, who represents families that had family members massacred in mass prison killings that took place at the Abu Salim prison in 1996, was arrested. Terbil’s arrest led to an eruption of protests ahead of the planned “Day of Rage”.

<title> Tens of Thousands Protest in Egypt Against Tyranny</title>
<description> This was a historical day for Egypt. Officially a national holiday, "Police Day" was redubbed Egypt's "Day of Revolution", celebrated with the first anti-government protests of this magnitude in decades.

Partially inspired by Tunisia's uprising, thousands showed their strength by marching against the regime of President Hosni Mubarak, facing down police and enduring predictable clashes.

<description> “ In case no one has noticed, the Obama administration just gifted Lebanon to Iran. Washington earlier presented Iraq, Afghanistan, the Gulf, and Pakistan. Could it be more clear that Iran’s strategic trump card is America’s subservience to Israel?

For Iran, Israel’s strangle hold on the US government is the gift that keeps on giving.

<description> China on Tuesday said that a U.S. navy vessel, which conducted activities in China's special economic zone in the South China Sea, violated the international and Chinese law.

"China has lodged a solemn representation to the United States as the USNS Impeccable conducted activities in China's special economic zone in the South China Sea without China's permission," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu told a regular news briefing.

<title> Rich Countries Grab Land to Safeguard Future Food Supplies</title>
<description> Rich governments and corporations are triggering alarm for the poor as they buy up agricultural land in developing countries to secure their own long-term food supplies.

The head of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization warns that the controversial rise in land deals could create a form of "neo-colonialism", with poor states producing food for the rich at the expense of their own hungry people.

<title> Human Trafficking is an Unaddressed Worldwide Tragedy</title>
<description> Bringing attention to human slavery and trafficking should not be a difficult task. People should be completely shocked and appalled that this problem has been allowed to grow completely out of control. Governments, including the United States, devote far too little in the way of time and resources to it. Many people say that is because too many government employees are part of trafficking and slavery. That makes fighting it all the more difficult if it is the case.

One advocate who works for the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office in Florida, Betty Dehnert, says the civilized people of earth have absolutely no clue about this industry.

<description> The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reports that child kidnappings are on the rise in several countries affected by violence – including Haiti where more than 50 children have been abducted so far this year – and are often carried out with impunity.

There have been cases of kidnapped children in Haiti being raped and tortured, and in some cases even murdered, the agency noted in a statement issued today.

	        <title> Lebanon Intrusion</title>
<description> On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the first U.S. military intervention in Lebanon, and 25 years after a second U.S. military intervention which left hundreds of Americans and thousands of Lebanese dead, the U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a resolution by a huge bipartisan majority which may lay the groundwork for a third one.

At a minimum, this move has crudely and unnecessarily inserted the United States into Lebanon’s complex political infighting.

For now, Cuba is in the hands of Castro's younger brother, Raúl Modesto Castro Ruz. This is not likely to represent a breakthrough at least with the current administration, as the United States government is holding fast to their position that they will not deal with either of the Castro brothers.
