	        <title> Fatal Traffic Crash Near Mill City, Oregon</title> 
	        <description> One person has died and two others were injured in a head-on crash Wednesday Evening on Highway 22 in Mill City.  
 
At about 6:10 PM, a 1999 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by 51-year old James Kline, from Gates, was westbound on Highway 22 near milepost 29 when it was struck head-on by an eastbound 1995 Isuzu Rodeo driven by 30-year old John Eric Young, from Bend. 

Mr. Kline died from his injuries early Thursday morning while undergoing treatment.

	        <title> Police Investigating Child Drowning East of Salem</title> 
	        <description> Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller reports that his deputies are investigating the death of a child who was found in a small pond in Mill City.

Johnny L. Caldera, age 2 years and 11 months, was staying with his grandparents, who are his guardians, on Dogwood Street in Mill City. 

At 7:56 PM Thursday evening, deputies were dispatched to the residence when the boy's grandparents found him floating in a small fish pond in their front yard.

	        <title> Fatal Crash on Highway 22 (UPDATE)</title> 
	        <description> At approximately 1:35 PM today, two Portland Area Residents died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 22 near Mill City.  An off-duty medic was at the crash scene and reported the fatalities.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2002 Toyota 4-Runner, driven by 27-year old Levi Wilson, of Turner slid out of control, on black ice, in a curve.  A 1999 Subaru Legacy made an evasive maneuver to avoid a collision but was struck on the passenger side.

	        <title> 19 Hearing Impaired Students That Were Missing Walk Back to Camp</title> 
	        <description> Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller reports a group of 19 hearing impaired youth that were overdue and presumed lost turned up at their camp in the Santiam State Forest south of Mill City.

The group was reported overdue at 8:40 PM yesterday by one of their leaders who was able to walk out and call for help. The youths are juniors and seniors in high school and are well equipped according the team's leader.  

Everyone in the group was hearing impaired, raising the challenge for searchers accustomed to being able to call out to people.  The team leader that went for help was the only individual with the group who can speak.  </description>

	        <title> Suspect in Keizer Walgreen's Armed Robberies Arrested</title> 
	        <description> Police have arrested a Mill City man that they say is connected to a string of armed robberies which began last December. Three of the incidents were armed robberies at Walgreen`s Pharmacy stores. Two were at the Keizer location, one happened at the Walgreen`s on Lancaster Drive in Salem. A person believed to be the same suspect also robbed the Blockbuster Video, at 5402 River Road North in Keizer.</description>
