<title> MySpace Users Want the Old Look Back</title>
<description> A new petition drive seeks to see MySpace return to its old days and re-simplify the site so that people can again have an unfiltered place stripped of the unnecessary bells and whistles.

MySpace.com took the world by storm, becoming the most popular social networking site in June 2006. In the wake of MySpace we have seen Facebook take over the social communication aspect of the Internet...

Because their projects include music, DelOrfano suggested they contact his long time friend and associate for advice, Gambino of La Familia Entertainment out of Pittsburg, PA.

	        <title> 'I Am Razah'</title>
<description> "I am Razah" is how the Jamaicain-born R&B singer presents himself, with a musical edge that is anything but typical.

Born in Jamaica and raised in Brooklyn, Razah (pronounced Raze-ah), born Martell Nelson, takes a less-walked route with R&B subject matter, generally avoiding today's over-done popularity of singing about relationships and breakups.

<title> How Does Salem-News.com Compare With Oregon Online Media?</title>
<description> When we started Salem-News.com almost five years ago, I sensed the potential of a great media movement that was about to take place Online, and sure enough it is now underway.

I had an idea then that our strictly Web-based news organization could serve the needs of people here very effectively by providing the latest news and empowering the people of Salem, who live in the shadow of our metropolis neighbor to the north.

<description> We reported on May 16th 2007 that the U.S. government appeared to be on the verge of relaxing its complete blackout of MySpace and YouTube on all U.S. military computers. I can tell you over one year later that it apparently never happened.

It seems unusual that the Department of Defense would continue this ridiculous information "blackout" at a time that we are asking so much from these brave warriors.</description>

The photo had been taken before her election to office, but that didn't stop the townspeople in this conservative eastern Oregon city from recalling her from office over it. Some cited the fact that the picture was taken by a city fire.

<title> MySpace Photos of Oregon Mayor Causing Stir in Arlington</title>

Arlington, Oregon's Mayor Carmen Kontur Gronquist did what many people do in the new Millennium; she posted images of herself on MySpace wearing lingerie. Maybe posing on a city fire vehicle was pushing it a bit, but then I lived in Las Vegas for five years where calendars feature the city's "sexiest firefighters."

Because Salem-News.com is family friendly in terms of language and content, I decided to post the footage on myspace.com and the footage is already building a new flow of visitors to our site.

The first batch of footage is available to watch in five-minute segments from beginning to end. This is unedited footage from an infantry security patrol "outside the wire" in Kabul, Afghanistan near Camp Phoenix. The soldiers are mostly Oregon National Guard and it is a rare and unusual chance to witness a military operation in Afghanistan from beginning to end.
