<title> Opening the Floodgates of Justice in Fullerton... Slightly</title>
<description> The gang-like police officer beating death of 37-year old Kelly Thomas, who cried out for mercy, and for his father as Fullerton cops savagely struck and shocked him into a mortally injured state that led to his death five days later, is a terrible reality for the citizens of this city to bear.

Mr. Thomas suffered from schizophrenia. I'm sure we all know somebody who suffers from mental health issues, it is the hand some people are dealt.

<title> 5 of 6 Fullerton Cops who Murdered Homeless Man Gang Style Still Working</title>
<description> Having grown up in Southern California, I have always been well aware of the brutality police officers are capable of.

There are many evil horrendous cases of unaddressed police abuse in this country, but some, like the case of Kelly Thomas, the schizophrenic man recently tortured and beaten to death in Fullerton, California remind us that this police abuse is taking place right under our nose.

<title> 'We the People,' In Order to Form a More Perfect Union….</title>
<description> Dear Sheriff Hutchens: It is with a heavy heart I write you today. I am greatly disturbed by the recent turn of events where Mr. Obama, acting upon his own, without any known provocation and without consulting or seeking the approval of Congress, launched an unlawful and unconstitutional invasion against the country of Libya.

In the weeks that have followed, from what I can determine, no one as yet has a clear understanding of the reasons behind this action.

<title> Water Quality: An Exploration of the Myths, Lies and Misperceptions</title>
<description> In this second and final installment, our caravan will be moving on to problems here in my home state of California.

If you live in another state, felt that I was unjustly pounding on the place you love, you might experience a little ripple of “schadenfreude” while browsing.

<title> Water Quality: An Exploration of the Myths, Lies and Misperceptions Part I of a Two Part Series</title>
<description> This is going to be a two part series, so sit down, buckle up and get good and depressed! It’s about some disturbing technical aspects the public knows little about, concerns I’d like to share, and some unpleasant things I’ve learned about the world of water on my (now) 13-year journey.

Hope your food is settled.

<description> Drought cycles that result in fresh water resource depletions, combined with increasing subterranean aquifer drafting down, renew the century-old battle in California to find a sustainable balance of protected wilderness and increased human population demands in my home state.

<title> 'Spiritual Warrior' James A. Ray Charged With 3 Counts of Manslaughter</title>
<description> "Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." John 8:31-32

Many Americans are shaking their heads and “Tsk-tsking” about the avoidable deaths of three people who attended self-help guru James A. Ray’s retreat in Sedona, Arizona last October.

<title> How To Build An Environmental Activist</title>
<description> As I mentioned in Part II, after attending dozens of USACE and EPA-sponsored watershed workshops from late 1998 through early 2004, after traveling to several additional restoration conferences facilitated by professionals, the experts said that Aliso was toast, hopeless, could never get restored to health, hence never get funded.

The County of Orange, the entity that broke it, wouldn’t pay to fix it.

<title> How To Build An Environmental Activist</title>
<description> In October of 1999, after the TV and newspaper media began responding to our demand requiring the County to close this beach completely for recreation, the newly-formed consortium (Clean Water Now! Coalition) confronted Laguna Beach City Council requesting they take a more aggressive stance and litigate upstream polluters to protect our residents.

The Council blinked and the CWN!C co-hosted what was the first municipal meeting for this issue on November 9th, a greatly publicized and media saturated workshop with local ocean pollution as the sole topic.

<title> How To Build An Environmental Activist</title>
<description> In early 1998, my introduction into the world of environmental issues began with two seemingly unrelated subjects that eventually merged to both outrage me and set a match to my eco-zeal.

I had never been involved with, nor interested in any community problems let alone ecological ones. Never spoken at a public hearing, never written a letter to the editor either.

<title> The County Formerly Known as 'Orange'</title>
<description> With the dawn of a new decade, Orange County residents should reflect on what a blessing it is to live around here, what a miraculous job the Irvine Company, Henry Segerstrom, the Mission Viejo and Aliso Viejo Corporations plus the O’Neill and Moiso gangs et al have accomplished.

In the latter half of the 20th Century they managed to pave over paradise. Of course they had assistance, what with the willing, greedy, hands-out-what’s-in-it-for-me-attitude of the incestuous Republican political structure. It wasn’t an easy job, this was well thought out and no fluke, but hey, somebody had to do it, right?

<title> Lawsuit Will Be Filed Over Camp Lejeune Water Contamination</title>
<description> The law offices of Anderson Pangia &amp; Associates, PLLC (offices in Washington, D.C. and Winston Salem, North Carolina) and Smorto, Persio, Webb &amp; McGill (of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania), will file on Monday July 6th a lawsuit arising from the toxic drinking water contamination at Camp Lejeune.

Many scientists have called the drinking water contamination at Camp Lejeune the worst in the nation's history. The contaminated drinking water was consumed by an estimated one million people. The lawsuit will allege that exposure to the toxins caused numerous health problems including cancers, reproductive disorders and birth defects, among other maladies.

<title> Congressional Investigators Say Toxic Military Base Health Hazards Were Overlooked</title>
<description> It was just less than a year ago when we began investigating and reporting on the contamination of Marine Corp bases in North Carolina and Southern California.

Now there is a new President with new environmental policies, and the historically reluctant flow of data on these environmental disasters appears to be increasing.

<title> Deadly Toxic Chemicals from El Toro Marine Base Affect Woodbridge in Irvine</title>
<description> A Salem-News.com series that began May 1st 2007 about deadly toxic contamination at the now-closed El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in Orange County, California, seemed like unwelcome news at the time to City of Irvine officials and also the public representative for the Irvine Ranch Water District.

Loose lips do sink ships, but so do plenty of other things. The ship in this case, was a huge development project planned by Lenar Homes that would have turned the dangerously polluted base into an upper end housing community and public park.

Construction ground to a halt and the base is now being used to store automobiles.
