	        <description> Oregon State Police troopers are investigating a single-vehicle crash on Highway 126E near Vida that left two people dead.  

According to OSP Sergeant Michael Brewster, on March 20, 2010 at approximately 8:13 p.m., a 1956 Ford sedan driven by a 64 year-old Kenneth Craig Marx of Blue River, was eastbound on Hwy 126E at milepost 33 negotiating a curve when, for an unknown reason, it left the roadway and struck a tree.

	        <title> Oregon Motorcycle Operator Dies from Injuries Sustained in Monday Crash</title> 
	        <description> A Springfield-area motorcyclist who was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a motorcycle crash, died early Wednesday morning at an area hospital.  The crash happened police say, when the rider lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on Belt Line Road north of Eugene.

Oregon State Police says 21-year old Timothy Russell Tull of Springfield was riding a 1997 Yamaha motorcycle September 14, 2009 at approximately 4:10 p.m. eastbound on Belt Line Road near milepost 6 when the crash occurred.

	        <description> The McKenzie Pass Highway (OR 242) is now officially open to all traffic. The highway has been closed to complete a highway repaving project that has now been completed.

The nearly $4 million dollar project, funded by the Federal Highway Administration, cut back the slope and realigned the highway, replaced two bridges and repaved the highway surface making the road more stable and safe for all users.

Oregon State Police Lieutenant Mike Bloom, says the truck's driver, 66-year old George R. Kent of Bunn, North Carolina, failed to stop for slowing traffic and ran into the back of another commercial vehicle northbound on Interstate 5 at the Belt Line Road interchange.

	        <description> Massachusetts State Police say Michael Breshnahan, one of the state's most wanted fugitives, was spotted last weekend in a store in Springfield, Oregon and was then seen hitchhiking on an Oregon highway. 36-year old Breshnahan is wanted for terrorizing and sexually assaulting a 61-year old woman after forcibly entering her home in Winchendon, Mass. last year.

Breshnahan, who has been featured on the television show "America's Most Wanted," was seen Saturday night by a viewer, purchasing camping equipment in a Walmart in Springfield, Oregon. Further information developed by local police there revealed that Breshnahan was last seen hitchhiking later that night on northbound Interstate 5 in Springfield.

	        <title> Oregon Couple Laid to Rest After Tragic Motorcycle Crash (VIDEO)</title> 
	        <description> Over 100 motorcycle riders showed up this week to pay their respects to a couple that died as a result of a car versus motorcycle crash on the Oregon coast May 17th.  

The man riding the bike, Robert Ellis Shimp, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was 63-years old. Robert survived for several days but ultimately died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. His wife, Nancy Ann Shimp who was 75, died at the scene.

Springfield police say Jeffrey Thomas Sprenger was arrested on Wednesday at J.T.’s Place in downtown Springfield, a bar he co-owns, after police found the infant with severe head injuries, which included bruising and lacerations in a backroom of the bar where the child, Sprenger, and the boy's mother were living.

Officers responded to the bar after receiving a tip from the boy’s babysitter.

A partial description of a vehicle seen in the area is provided to help in the joint investigation involving Oregon State Police Arson &amp; Explosives Section, Oregon Department of Forestry and McKenzie Fire &amp; Rescue.

On August 2nd, 2006 at approximately 4:30 AM, McKenzie Fire &amp; Rescue responded to multiple fire set locations along Camp Creek Road east of Springfield.  Fire investigators have identified four fire-set locations as well as damaged mailboxes and paper boxes.

	        <title> Man Missing Since Friday Found Safe, Then Placed in Handcuffs</title> 
	        <description> Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says  search teams located 36-year-old Michael Lee Walter, who was reported missing Saturday afternoon by his family during a camping trip in a remote area approximately 60 miles east of Sweet Home. 

The last time Walter had been seen by his family was approximately 6:00 PM Friday.  Family members initially attempted to locate him themselves, but were unsuccessful.

A Linn County Sheriff's Office dispatcher located Walter on a road near the search area at approximately 8:15 AM Monday morning. </description>
