<description> Passionate divers may join a pilot "guest dive" program at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

<title> Life Behind Wheel Propels Human Relations Roadmap</title>
<description> This writer was raised in suburban New York City and did not actually get a drivers license until I reached age 40. Thus I became a late bloomer behind the wheel.

Looking back, there are many invisible lessons to be gleaned. When we drive a car, yes indeed, we are interacting with an assortment of very diverse human beings out there.

<title> What Happened to Palestine's Steam Railways? </title>
<description> Not all is doom and gloom here in the UK. The North Norfolk Railway (Poppy Line) put on its Spring Steam Gala last weekend and a good time was had by young and old.

Their cute little J15 was celebrating her 100th birthday, dwarfed by wildlife artist David Shepherd's mighty 'Black Prince'. The B12, which had been undergoing a major overhaul, emerged into the sunlight looking as brand spanking new as she did the day she was built in 1928.

<description> The other day someone kindly sent me an old link to an aviation forum, where an irate passenger had written: "This morning (6 May 2003) on a flight from Rome to Tel Aviv, after landing the pilot announced in the microphone: 'Welcome to Palestine'. I think this is the most disgusting thing for a pilot to say."

It led to a long and acrimonious argument with many demanding dire punishment for the Alitalia pilot.

The idea to travel to Sri Lanka came from the meeting I hosted in the Parliament a few months ago about the massacre of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

My wish to go was strengthened by the many meetings I have had with the Tamil Diaspora, and others active on the issue of Tamil rights, in the recent period.

<description> George Orwell condemned the sending of poor children from downtrodden parentage to a school for rich kids from affluent family. If memory serves me right, he dubbed it as the worst crime that can be inflicted on a child.

Well, Orwell’s insightful remark resurfaced during my recent sojourn in Johannesburg and remained uppermost in my mind.

Studies show as many as half of Israel's Jews will consider leaving Palestine in the next few years if current political and social trends continue.

It was introduced in February 2010 by Representatives Peterson (D-MN) and Moran (R-KS).

Reportedly, 52 U.S. Senators have agreed to vote for the Bill, but only 205 "yes" votes of the 218 needed are on board in the House. Contact your U.S. Representative urging he or she to vote for passage.
