Inmate Indicted in Death at Marion County Jail

Robert Steven Dailey was arraigned on September 3, 2010, at the Marion County Circuit Court Annex, 4000 Aumsville Hwy, Salem, Oregon. He is being held without bail on these charges.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Detectives with the Linn County Sheriff's Office have concluded their investigation into the death of 29-year old Robert Douglas Haws, an inmate at the Marion County Jail.

Mr. Haws died on July 19, 2010, at the Salem Memorial Hospital. An autopsy was performed by Christopher Young, M.D., of the State Medical Examiner's Office, on July 20, 2010.
