Will Purdue Pharma`s Deep Pockets Buy Leniency in Senate Investigation ?

Purdue Pharma has until June 8 to produce documents demanded by the Senate Finance Committee.

(MYRTLE BEACH, SC) - Purdue headquarters in Stamford, Ct. In the past few weeks, I have been writing articles about the maker of OxyContin, Purdue Pharma and their financial funding the American Pain Foundation.

ProPublica, known as Physicians for Responsible Opioid Prescribing (PROP) were hugely responsible for a Senate investigation of pharma's ties to pain foundations.

(MYRTLE BEACH, SC) - Salem-News.com On March 11, I wrote about a Kentucky Congressman lashing out at FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, about the devastation OxyContin has caused in his state.

Two videos in the article show Dr. Hamburg "stonewalling" efforts to have the FDA reclassify the highly addictive and synthetic heroin, OxyContin for "severe" pain only.
