Surprise Awakening for Oregon City Apartment Dwellers (SLIDESHOW)

Jeep wakes up residents early by crashing into Oregon City apartment.
(OREGON CITY) -
Residents of the Mountain View Apartment complex in Oregon City at 1840 Molalla Ave woke up early this morning at 3:26 a.m. to the sound of a Jeep that drove into the stairwell of one of the buildings.
No one was injured, but upper floor residents had to be assisted down their back balcony by Clackamas firefighters because of the destruction done by the Jeep to their stairs outside their front door. Oregon City Police were on scene and took the driver of the Jeep into custody.

Deer Blamed in Oregon Motorcyclist`s Fatal Crash

Investigators say a motorcyclist was ‘struck by a deer' and killed on South Chalet Drive at Fischers Mill, east of Oregon City today at 11:34 a.m.
Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says deputies and the Clackamas Fire District #1 responded to the scene of this peculiar and most unfortunate fatal collision.

Missing Oregon City Woman Located by CHP

The CHP located the woman on the other side of the California border.
(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) -
UPDATE: 11:40 p.m. The recently reported missing Oregon City woman has been located by California Highway Patrol, while attempting to cross into the State of California, at the I-5 border crossing.
Jean Knopf is safe and will be provided for and returned home. Knopf was indeed disoriented and indicated to authorities she was attempting to return to her residence in Oregon City.

Man Gored to Death by Bull in Oregon City

A family patriarch was killed by a 1200 pound bull that threatened rescuers and attacked a second man, a neighbor, who barely escaped with his life.
(OREGON CITY) -
A 1200 pound bull attacked and killed a man Sunday around 4:38 p.m. during a family get together in Oregon City. 66-year old Aurgliano Paulino Martinez-Sierra was killed by the massive bull while attending to his farm animals east of Oregon City.
The tragedy took place as an estimated 30 or more extended family and friends gathered on Sunday, to visit and at their family residence on South Springwater Road in Oregon City, Oregon.

Oregon City Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash

This fatal traffic crash investigation remains under investigation by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
(OREGON CITY) -
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has completed family notifications and is publicly identifying a driver who died around 5:21 a.m. in a crash on South Redland Road in Oregon City. Det. Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says the driver is identified as 25-year old Jacquelyn Diane Price of Oregon City.
Jacquelyn Price died at the scene of the crash and was reported to have been seat-belted while in operation of her automobile, according to investigators. She was driving a light blue 1995 Honda Accord sedan.

Oregon City Man Arrested for Prostituting a 16 Year Old Girl on the Internet

The investigation began after police detectives learned that the suspect had put sexually explicit photos of the girl on the Internet.
(OREGON CITY) -
An Oregon City man is behind bars for sexual relations with a 16-year old girl who he also allegedly sold as a prostitute on an Internet escort site.
Police say 32-year old Justin B. Blackledge was arrested Sunday at 11:30 p.m., by a Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputy.

Clackamas County Raids See Five Arrested For Drug Dealing

A total of 16 law-enforcement personnel participated in the execution of the two warrants.

The Clackamas County Inter-agency Task Force (CCITF) arrested five individuals Wednesday who are believed to bhe responsible for extensive drug-dealing activity in the Oregon City area.
Jim Strovink, Detective with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, says just after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, CCITF members, accompanied by Oregon City Police, simultaneously executed search warrants at two residences in Oregon City.

Oregon City Woman Dies in Crash on Highway 211

The near head-on collision happened west of Molalla.
(MOLALLA) -
Police say a 75-year old Oregon City woman died and her 8-year old great-grandson received non-life threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon when their car collided with a commercial truck at the intersection of Highway 211 and Canby-Marquam Highway west of Molalla.
Jeanette Lane is the driver who died in the crash. Highway 211 remained closed until approximately 6:00 PM, for vehicle removal and completion of the on-scene crash investigation.
OSP says the preliminary investigation indicates that today around 12:45 PM, a 2003 Buick Park Avenue driven by the victim was southbound on the Canby-Marquam Highway when it failed to come to a complete stop for a stop sign at the Highway 211 intersection.

Oregon City Family Survives Home Invasion Robbery

The suspects were described as male, under six feet tall, 20 years of age wearing ski masks and black clothing.
(OREGON CITY) -
Oregon City Police are looking for two suspects in a home invasion robbery that happened early this morning at 12:12 AM. Lt. Lisa Nunes with the Oregon City Police Department, says officers responded to a report of a panic alarm on Nevin Court in Oregon City.
"As officers were arriving they were advised by dispatch that there had been a home invasion robbery at this residence and the victim was calling in from a neighbors home," Nunes said.
Officers learned that the residents had come home on the evening of December 4th at approximately 10:00 PM, and met the robbers as they entered the residence.
