Cold spots. Apparitions. Things that go bump in the night.
Some of these things can be explained by creaky floorboards, cracked walls or frisky weather. But what if they can't?
Before buying a home, inspections usually mean checking the foundation, roof and pipes. But, sometimes there is another area of concern, things that are a bit more intangible. When there are questions regarding...the unknown... future homebuyers now have someone to turn to.

I believe we are either brought up with, or somehow develop a natural association with fear and darkness.
A pitch-black room or sitting around a campfire at night are the perfect settings in which to share ghost stories and scare our friends, let’s face it, in the dark we are more susceptible to our imaginations!

For me, growing up in my parents house as a child, there were always tales of ghosts and strange occurrences. This was, for the most part, dinner table conversation for us.
There were stories of deceased relatives who were still heard arguing in their now abandoned home where the front yard was now littered with over grown grass, shrubs and trees, there were stories of “Voodoo” rituals and spells that had been cast on family members in the past, mysterious black dogs and giant crows.

A Ghost in Residence

This is a true story, as far as I know... Only the names of those involved have been changed since I am retelling their story, as it was told me:

The house in the suburbs was quite large and beautiful, hardwood flooring and decorative wallpaper complimented the intricate trim detail and crown moldings. Yet there seemed to be something else going on beneath the surface.
It wasn’t long before Mary started to notice that something was strange about their new home, whenever she was alone in the house she often felt as if she was being watched... sometimes she even thought she caught glimpses of “shadows” darting across the room out of the corner of her eye.
