They're seeking any information regarding the whereabouts and activities of Jessica Marie Long in the days and hours preceding her murder.
(SALEM, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive person in the roadway approximately half of a mile east of State Highway 214 between Woodburn and Mt. Angel in Marion County, Oregon Wednesday night at 10:00 PM.

Deputies located a deceased female in the roadway shortly after receiving the report.
She has been identified as 24-year old Jessica Marie Long. An autopsy was performed Thursday at the Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office. Cause of death was determined to be homicide. The reported manner of death was determined to be gunshot.
Police are seeking any information regarding the whereabouts and activities of Jessica Marie Long in the days and hours preceding her murder.
Police are also seeking any information regarding a vehicle that may be related to the murder. The pictured vehicle may have damage to a side window.

The investigation is headed by the Marion County Sheriff's Office with the involvement of the Oregon State Police, Woodburn Police Department, Gervais Police Department, Mt. Angel Police Department, Silverton Police Department, Stayton Police Department and Keizer Police Department.
