(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Violence in DR Congo At least seven people killed in attacks on voting centres and vehicle carrying ballots in the city of Lubumbashi.
Seven people have been killed in two separate clashes on Election Day in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the country's interior minister has said.

Although voting was scheduled to be completed early on Monday evening, the chairman of the country's electoral commission announced that voting would be extended at least until Tuesday.

The family of eight; Dad, Mom, and six children, ranged in age from 7 to 18 years old.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A family in Keizer was forced to evacuate their home late in the night when the unknown odor in the home grew to the point- smoke drove them from the house. Keizer Police and Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved garage fire that extended into the house and burned to the second floor attic.

The calls to 911 began at 00:12:55 a.m. (12 minutes after midnight) and a Keizer Police Patrol unit arrived 4 minutes later and reported the house fully involved in fire.

JNF delays eviction of Palestinian family from East Jerusalem home

JNF is now sidestepping the issue.

(EAST SERUSALEM Ha'aretz) - The Sumarin family in their contested Silwan home earlier this month. At the last minute on Thursday night, the Jewish National Fund announced a delay in the eviction of 12 members of a Palestinian family from the house where they've been living in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan. An eviction order had initially been issued requiring the Sumarin family to be out of the property by Monday.

Police and bailiff's office officials had already toured the house, preparing for the possibility that the family would have to be physically removed from the premises.
