(NEW SOUTH WALES) - Senator RHIANNON: Earlier this year, I attended the launch of Agent Orange Justice.

This is the Australian section of the international campaign to hold the United States government responsible for the disaster it created for millions of Vietnamese people as a result of its 10-year spraying of the chemical weapon Agent Orange.

Basic Problems of Human and Environmental Consequences of Toxic Chemicals/Dioxin in Vietnam

Vietnamese scientists, in their research, have discovered alteration of genes, chromosome, protein, immunodeficiency among those with historical exposure to chemicals/dioxin and with high concentration of dioxin in blood.

(HANOI) - With about 80 million liters of herbicides, containing at least 366 kg dioxin, the chemical/dioxin war by the America in Southern Vietnam is the largest chemical one in the history of humankind.

The high and very high concentration of dioxin residues in the environment, animals and humans, at present, in some hot spots is clear evidence for the long-term impacts of chemicals/dioxin, confirming the origin of dioxin from warring herbicides used by the US.

(LONDON) - David Landy, an Irish-Jewish academic and a Palestinian solidarity activist has written a book about Jewish Identity and Jewish dissent in the Diaspora.

The book, published on 7th July 2011, was largely ignored by most pro-Palestinian outlets and dissident journals. Almost four months later, Landy’s book was re-launched by JFJFP (Jews for Justice for Palestinians), in the hope, presumably, that it might divert attention from my own The Wandering Who.

(COLOMBO Sunday Times) - An evaluation report by Norway of its peace efforts in Sri Lanka between 1997 and 2009 has named presidential advisor and Minister Basil Rajapaksa as the person through whom the LTTE leadership tried to negotiate a last-minute surrender deal.

(LONDON) - Last Friday I had a 2-hour meeting with my MP Henry Bellingham, who is a minister in the Foreign Office. We spent much of the time discussing the Palestinian statehood question and the absurd sabre-rattling against Iran.

Mr Bellingham listened politely, saying he was more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause than some within the Government. He also agreed that the best way to influence Iran was to resume trade.
