(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza Earlier this week, the Rwandan High Court ruled that it had full jurisdiction in the case of opposition leader, Victoire Ingabire.

This went unremarked by the international and domestic media, save a few reports from actors sympathetic to the obvious involvement of senior Rwandan government officials in Ingabire’s trial. Indeed, almost all of the reporting on Ingabire’s case is coming from officials of her FDU-Inkingi party.

American Jewish peace group applauds UNESCO decision to grant Palestine full status in UNESCO.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Palestine acceptance at UNESCO Today members of UNESCO voted to grant the PLO full status in that organization, with 107 nations voting in favor, only 14 nations voting “no,” and another 52 abstaining. A group of Norwegian researchers from the Haukenland University Hospital (Bergen) deny the existence of an “autism epidemic”.

(MADRID) - Autism An autistic child will remain autistic for the rest of his or her life. Autism is a neural disorder whose origin is still unknown.

Director and scientist of the Biomedical Research Network Centre of Mental Health (Cibersam, Spain) affirms that autistic children suffer numerous alterations that affect their infant development. These effects are due to the neural disruption of the child from the very start.

(LONDON) - UN accepted by UNESCO It makes a nice change for Palestinians to be able to chalk up a success.

And admission as a full member to UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) is good news for them and bad news for their Israeli tormentors. Palestine becomes the organisation's 195th member as soon as it has ratified UNESCO's constitution.
