Fatal Truck Crash Caused by Cow in the Road

The commercial truck was carrying 7500 gallons of gasoline and 2500 gallons of diesel fuel.

(DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore.) - fatal crash Monday at approximately 9:45 p.m. a 2012 Kenworth truck towing double fuel tanks was westbound on Hwy 38 when it struck a large black cow standing in the roadway.

The truck then lost control and traveled off the roadway and struck a power pole. The operator of the truck, 59-year old Charles Stephens, from Eugene, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Aurora Man in Custody after Hit and Run Crash with School Bus

There were 20 children on the bus at the time of the crash.

(DONALD, Ore.) - school bus crash According to Deputies, the preliminary investigation revealed that the Peterbuilt truck operated by 49-year old Timothy Brown, of Sheridan, was traveling west on Ehlen Rd NE. As Brown approached the intersection with Butteville Rd NE, a black SUV driving eastbound made a left hand turn in front of him.

Brown hit the SUV at approximately 55 mph causing it to spin and crash into the left front portion of the school bus that was sitting at the stop sign, waiting to turn.

Personally, I don’t trust polls so much these days since the 2016 presidential election where too many showed Hillary Clinton winning comfortably. Democrats shouldn’t rely on them either.

Security Guard Sentenced to Life in Prison for 2017 Murder of Jose Moreno

Capwell had no prior felony criminal record in the state of Oregon.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Gregory Weston Capwell Today, the Honorable David E. Leith sentenced 34-year old Gregory Weston Capwell to Life in prison following his conviction for murder. Gregory Capwell was convicted on October 18, 2018, following a four day jury trial, of the intentional killing of 25-year old Jose Moreno.

The murder charge stems from an incident that occurred in the Denny’s parking lot on July 22, 2017, at about 3:30 a.m.
