From I to We (Updated)
By Daniel Johnson, Deputy Executive Editor, Salem-News.com
Capitalism is framed on the assumption that man is an animal--end of discussion. But, because, transcendentally, man is infinitely more, it's undeniable that capitalism is not natural as a dominant way of life for society.
(CALGARY, Alberta) -
“To live as a rational animal does not mean to think like a man and live as an animal. We must both think and live as men.” Living as an animal, is the ethos of capitalism.

PTSD and Aggression: Then and Now Its Been with us a Million Years or More
Dr Phil Leveque Salem-News.com
About the worst feature of the discussion is the high suicide rate of those soldiers seeking to attain or maintain alpha status.
(MOLALLA, Ore.) -
The first written record of PTSD was from a physician in an Egyptian Pharaohs Army in 2500 BC who described it as “hysterical reaction to battle”. That sounds about right and PTSD continues long afterwards. Some WWII Vets still have PTSD some 65 years later. I am one of them.

Uri Avnery, intrepid columnist, ageless Israeli peace activist, and retired IDF soldier, has seen, up close, the actions of every government Israeli voters have put in office since the nation was created.

The Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty Dying Out on the Borderline
Dr. Ashraf Ezzat Salem-News.com
“The toppling and the trial of Mubarak has altered scenarios that were already underway and hindered plans for the Middle East that were in the making under the auspices of ardent Zionists in Washington, Cairo and Tel Aviv.”
(ALEXANDRIA, Egypt) -
The key tag/word in this top news is not the old mellow jazz of yet another Israeli bus hit by only god- or Mossad- knows who and followed by immediate and totally indiscriminate Israeli retaliation raids on Gaza.
It's rather the brand-new mention of attackers and suicide bombers sneaking into Israel territories from Egypt Sinai desert where five Egyptian policemen were killed caught in the fire by an Israeli helicopter at the Egyptian Israeli border.

IDF Spokesperson: `We DIDN`t say PRC was behind Eilat attack`
Joseph Dana special to Salem-News.com
If the PRC and Hamas are not the culprits, why is Israel attacking targets in Gaza with overwhelming force?
(TEL AVIV Uruknet.de) -
Yesterday morning, I wrote a piece questioning the journalistic ethics of some in the Israeli media and, to a larger extent, the entire international press corps over of their rush to adopt Israel's claim that a Gaza-based terror organization was behind Thursday’s attack near Eilat.
As the attack was unfolding, Israeli warplanes were warming up to carry out airstrikes in the Gaza strip with no concrete proof confirming that the culprits of the attack were from Gaza.

John McCarthy Salem-News.com
It is a felony NOT to report accusations of Treason In Wartime to a Federal Judge or the President of The United States.
(LOS ANGELES) -
Pat Tillman's deadly event, coverup and the continued denial of facts and circumstances proves that the pattern of 'strategic silence' and treason continues to be the modus operundi of the US government and the political forces running it.
The following unanswered letters show blatant disregard for the exposure of treason in wartime on the part of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence(?) during the past decade.

The Silence over the CIA Prison in Somalia
Scott A Morgan for Salem-News.com
This report raises another interesting area of concern. Several Governments in the region have Prisons that for the lack of a better term have horrible conditions.
