Psychological Stress Times X = PTSD

The psychological tension is sometimes super intense...

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - PTSD Two incidents during last week caught my attention for the causation of PTSD.

The first was the Chilean mine disaster. Those miners were trapped in something like an artillery barrage, only worse, for 69 days. The first 17 days were by far the worst with starvation and/or a further mine collapse which could have killed them all. It is miraculous that they even survived those 17 days with less than a few spoonfuls of tuna fish, daily or every other day. This will rank as one of the miracles of survival.

`Manufactured` Israeli Charges Against Former Yale Professor Dismissed

Plus other regional updates from Prof. Mazin Qumsiyeh.

(BETHLEHEM) - Mazin Qumsiyeh After a third trip to Ofer military compound near Ramallah on October 18, 2010, and much expenses in terms of time and money, I am pleased to report that my trial based on manufactured charges by Israeli police was dismissed by the military judge.

Welcoming Our Troops

A memorable twenty minutes at the airport.

(DALLAS, Tx.) - Drone I am picking up a Turkish friend from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas.

His arrival happens to coincide with that of a planeload of U.S. soldiers back from a foreign theater of operations, in what appears to be a regular occurrence given the giant Welcome Home plaque permanently installed on the wall here in the arrivals hall, thanking troops for their service.

This plan might sound similar to the Bonn Process that established Afghanistan’s current system of government, yet no foreign influence will be allowed.

(SEATTLE) - Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan President Barack Obama doesn’t have a viable Afghanistan exit strategy due to a fatal flaw in America’s policy development process: a complete lack of input from native Afghans.
