An open letter from the sister of a Cambodian refugee on the verge of deportation, and a very uncertain future.

(ELOY, Az.) - Death penalty The U.S. fought a war in Vietnam that bled into Cambodia in 1970 and then was followed by a wind down period and eventual withdrawal of the last American combat troops from SE Asia in 1975.

Career Politicians and Term Limits

If we really want to fix the problems plaguing our country, our first step needs to be to put strict term limits in place for Congress and the Senate.

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) - Term limit sign Our current economic situation is clearly untenable. It now seems that too many Americans blame President Obama for the current situation.

I believe that some of the blame for this situation is his but some rests squarely on President Bush’s shoulders, President Clinton's shoulders, and on the shoulders of numerous other politicians who have been warming the seats of Congress. The problem as I see it is multifaceted. President Obama complained that President Bush spent too much during his 8 years in office; yet, President Obama has gone about trying to fix the problems by spending multiples of what president Bush spent during his 8-year term only he did it in much less time.

Who benefits from a continued recession? The answer to that question may explain a lot...do you know it?

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.) - Behind the Curtain art Republicans in general are pretty smart people. They seem to be able to amass large fortunes more frequently than anyone else. You do not accomplish this by being stupid.

Ever since the Democrats took back Washington, profits are down. They see the Democrats as wanting to feed the hunger, cure the sick, provide food and shelter for the poor, fight injustice. To an extent that is true. However, they feel the Democrats want to do these things with the taxpayers money. That would, of course, include some of their tax dollars.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Ghost hunters I first experienced the Oregon School for the Deaf's Halloween 'Nightmare Factory' in Salem, when I was a fairly new staff member at KATU, the ABC station in Portland, Oregon.
