Severe Restrictions and Curfews to Stop `Quit Kashmir` Rallies

Clashes ensue at peaceful protest march, 12 more people hurt

(SRINAGAR, India) - Kashmir arrests CRPF troops and police on Wednesday burst tear smoke shells and fired warning shots to scuttle the rallies called by pro-freedom Hurriyat Conference in Srinagar, Baramulla and Kupwara districts. At least a dozen people were injured in the fresh clashes across the Valley.

The Hurriyat Conference (G) spearheading the ‘Quit Kashmir’ campaign had asked Srinagarites to march towards HMT, people of Baramulla and Kupwara to Sopore and Trehgam respectively to pay homage to the people who were killed by CRPF troops and police in the recent days. However, to foil the Hurriyat programme, state authorities enforced strict curfew in almost all the major towns and districts of the Valley.

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) - Ground zero mosque redneck Freedom of Religion is a right guaranteed by our constitution. Anyone who has read my articles in the past knows that I believe the rights granted by our constitution are sacred. This right is no exception!

Should those U.S. citizens who practice the religion of Islam have the right to build a mosque where they want? In my opinion, yes! I make no exceptions or qualifications to that answer.

As of this writing the Russians are preparing to install fuel rods into Iran's first nuclear reactor thereby making it feasible (according to nuclear experts) for Iran to have a nuclear bomb before the end of 2010.

142nd Fighter Wing F-15s Launch for Temporary Flight Restriction Violation

Fighter jets break sonic barrier today enroute to Washington.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon Air Guard F-15 At 1:38 p.m. this afternoon, within minutes of notification, two F-15C fighters from the Oregon Air National Guard's 142nd Fighter Wing scrambled in response to a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) violation in the vicinity of Seattle, Wash.

The jets were under the direction of the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

While choruses of "we shall not be moved" rose up and sunflower seeds were scattered down, citizens of all ages and shades of diversity, gathered to protest continued production of U.S. nuclear weapons, to demand a clean up of the old KC facility and they also exposed another collaboration of corporations and politicians who collude while the tax payer pays for it all.

La Nina: Southern California Will See Winter Flip-Flop

Water restrictions and drought pricing are already in place for most of the water authority's customers.

(State College, Pa.) - Cal weather map AccuWeather.com reports thanks to a strong La Nina weather pattern, the West Coast is likely to see winter conditions opposite of what it endured last year.

According to AccuWeather.com Expert Senior Meteorologist and West Coast resident Ken Clark said, "The difference going into this winter, is going to be totally on the opposite side, last year we had a moderate El Nino going through the winter, that drastically changed this spring to a La Nina pattern."
