This charge was, as most who follow real news know, based on a selectively edited video of a speech Ms Sherrod made in March of this year in which she recounted her own awakening, years before her employ at USDA, of what poor independent farmers faced in terms of keeping and maintaining the viability of their farms in America and her part in helping these farmers.

The several subspecies of chimango caracara occur throughout much of southern South America and are found in parts of Chile.

(PATAGONIA, Argentina) - Chimango Caracara photos by Gail Parker The chimango caracara is actually a falcon. Despite its great numbers, little is known of this raptor which is a common in southern South America.

It seems to take a similar niche to the Oregon crow, opportunistically eating carrion alongside roads, gleaning scraps near garbage dumps and following plows. It also consumes worms, insects and their larvae, small birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians.

Clackamas Woman Arrested in Shooting Death of Husband

On Friday, July 23 the Oregon State Medical Examiner Office performed an autopsy on Richard Meisner Schreiner and it was determined that he died from a gunshot wound.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - At approximately 10:25 a.m. today, 70-year old Carol Jean Schreiner was arrested on Probable Cause of Murder in the shooting death of her husband, 73-year old Richard Meisner Schreiner.

Detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit arrested Carol Jean Schreiner, who surrendered to detectives at the Clackamas County Jail in Oregon City.

Oregon Immigrant Rights Coalition Applauds Injunction Against SB1070

Key parts prevented from going into affect on Thursday.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Immigrant rights Today, U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton issued a preliminary injunction preventing several sections of Arizona's racial profiling law from going into affect on Thursday.

SB1070, signed into law in April, is the most extreme legislation anywhere in the country to deal with the nation's broken immigration system. Opposition to the law includes law enforcement, a diverse coalition of faith leaders, immigrants' advocates, civil rights leaders, and legal scholars.
