Austic Man in Salem Missing, Family Seeks Public Help

Local police won't help the family of a missing autistic man in Salem; they are asking for the public's assistance.

(SALEM) - 30-year old Erick Svoboda The family of a 30-year old Salem man described as autistic, is very concerned about the man's recent disappearance. The family of Erick Svoboda, says he went for a bicycle ride around the neighborhood before dinner on Friday July 16th.

He has not returned. He has no friends that he goes to visit, and we are all afraid that he has come to come serious harm or injury.

The lack of information provides a prosperous environment for corruption, bribery and deprives citizens from accessing public services provided by the Afghan government and foreign assistance.

(BETHLEHEM) - Salem-News.com Young people do what is called 'party hopping': going from one party to another in the same night when the parties are held in parallel time. You get to meet more people but you have the disadvantage of not spending enough time at one place to really get connected.

We decided this Friday to try a similar thing for the Friday demonstrations in Bethlehem area and hop-visit Al-Walaja, Al-Ma'sara, and Wad Rahhal.

Israeli Border Police Demolish Cistern in Al Beqa`a Valley

Christian Peacemaker Teams report that Israeli authorities waited until crops were almost ready for market.

(AL AHALIL, Hebron) - Al-Baqas Valley cistern demolition Israeli border police demolished a rainwater cistern and removed irrigation pipes from several Palestinian fields in Al Beqa'a Valley just east of Hebron on July 14, 2010, the second day of incidents in the area this month.

When international peace activists from Christian Peacemaker Teams arrived in the area at 9:30am, the large bagger that had been used to break up the concrete of the cistern was just leaving the site.

(LAS CRUCES, N.M.) - Mier, Mexico A new report by Mexico’s National Institute of Geography, Statistics and Informatics (Inegi) provides aesthetic details on the emptying of the countryside in the Mexican state of Michoacan.

Of 537,000 homes in rural Michoacan, nearly one in four, or 23 percent, stand abandoned throughout the entire year or portions of it, the Inegi study finds.
