A Theatrical Summer in Gaza

The plays are being performed twice a day every day until mid-August for whoever is in Gaza and whoever can get to Gaza. All are welcome.

(GAZA CITY) - Gaza Summer Games As soon as school ends, the entire Gaza Strip will begin the season of summer camps. There are plenty of options for kids, all organised by one group or another. Especially interesting is the Summer Games of UNRWA, now in its fourth year.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Prisoner in cell I am not going to identify the prison nor the guard with a moral conscience from which this information comes.

It has come to my attention that the perverse medical care in the Oregon Prison system is in effect severely mistreating sick patients in effect making it a part of the punitive actions against these prisoners.

(SEATTLE) - The above photo of President John F. Kennedy welcoming the former and last King of Afghanistan, Zahir Shah There is only one prescription for peace in Afghanistan - a formula clearly laid out to me recently by renowned experts and authorities on Central Asia, including the former highest ranking officer of Pakistan's armed forces.

Introducing Salem-News.com`s Newest Feature: Your City USA!

An amazing educational site in Oregon is an uplifting impression for many.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - Your City USA I think we all suffer from a kind of blindness from familiarity. We see and live in our surroundings so long and our minds are so focused on immediate needs and tasks that we don't really see what's there.

Since the dawn of time artists have been "showing" us what has been under our noses all along by taking the familiar and emphasizing some aspect of it to reawaken our eyes.

US Wants South Korean Sinking Story Told Their Way: Russia and China Disagree

The lack of evidence linking Pyongyang to the sinking, coupled with the history of US deceptions in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq, makes it more likely that the Cheonan was sank by the US or South Koreans, accidentally or deliberately.
