Electricity is turned on for 4 hours and then cut off for 20 hours every day.

(GAZA STRIP) - Unemployment has reached its highest level in history. Another obstacle is electricity which is only available for about four hours each day.

These dynamics increase psychological pressure on human beings of all ages. Hope remains because anything is possible but the lack of electricity creates serious problems. Sometimes the electricity is even turned off during the 4 hours it should be on. This causes great stress.

Heavy Snow Falling in Portland and the Valley Floor

A complex low pressure system is bringing another round of snow to the Willamette Valley.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - A Winter Storm Warning for Heavy Snow is in effect until 1 p.m. Wednesday, issued by the National Weather Service.

Snow levels are down to the valley floor. 2-6 inches of snow is expected to accumulate, with heavier amounts to fall across the higher elevations on the west side of the valley.

Law Enforcement Investigating Fatal Crash Following Reported Kidnapping

(ONTARIO, Ore.) - Just as Ontario Police arrived on scene, the suspect, 49-year old Anthony Wayne Montwheeler, of Nampa, Idaho, fled in a 2014 black Dodge pickup.

Officers received information that there was an adult female, 40-year old Anita S. Harmon, of Weiser, Idaho, who was being held against her will, in the pickup. Officers pursued the suspect in the city then traveled south onto Highway 201.

Witnesses said the man was running around the store with a machete and while in the store, the suspect, identified as Alan Lee Brock, allegedly swung a machete at a door greeter and said he was going to kill him.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for snow and freezing rain.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Saturday morning through Sunday morning for the Central Willamette Valley including the Salem metro area.

The storm is expected to bring significant impacts of snow and freezing rain across much of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Fire Investigators Discover Probable Remains of Kroeker Family

The Sheriff's Office is still on scene.

(HUBBARD, Ore.) - Over the past two days, Investigators have recovered the remains of 5 individuals inside of the Kroeker residence. Detectives can confirm that the remains found are of an adult male, one adult female and three children.

Although the remains appear consistent with that of the Kroeker family, confirmation of identity is made through the medical examiner.
