Darfur, Are We Listening?

Please answer the voice of the displaced Darfuri, “I hear you; I will help you see justice!”

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Six years later, human atrocities; maiming, killing, rape, looting, 80+ percent of villages burned and destroyed and hundreds of thousands displaced both within and outside of Darfur.

We are spending millions on aid, numerous resources and time. A country that allows its own men, women, children, teachers, doctors to be exterminated in such a fashion will not stand against atrocities in other countries. If we choose to ignore this and walk away, than we are saying this is allowed, this is OK. Hitler watched the world forgot about the Armenians, he concluded they can and will forget about the Jews.

The Criminal Behavior of G-20 Police in Pittsburgh

A disintegrating set of morals are allowing American cops to become the Gestapo and Stormtroopers of yesterday.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com U.S. media outlets are writing about the new LRAD device used on demonstrators at the G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh in a way that only brain-dead sold out scoundrels can.

Americans should be horrified by this new form of police abuse. I predict that it will ultimately be the last straw in a society that has too high of a threshold for this type of torture. The device disburses crowds by emitting a high decibel sound so painful that it causes people to freeze and try to run. Apparently they can not always do this.

Things you Think You Know About Iran That are not True

Some surprising realities about the most inaccurately represented nation on earth.

(ANN ARBOR, Mich.) - Young people of Iran Thursday is a fateful day for the world, as the US, other members of the United Nations Security Council, and Germany meet in Geneva with Iran in a bid to resolve outstanding issues.

As Henry Kissinger pointed out, these talks are just beginning and there are highly unlikely to be any breakthroughs for a very long time. Diplomacy is a marathon, not a sprint.
