Graphic Video Shows Chicago Police Shooting of 17-Year Old

WARNING: This video contains graphic violence.

(CHICAGO) - 17-year old Laquan McDonald was shot 16 times by a Chicago police officer in October 2014 and the police dashcam video was released Tuesday.

A judge had ordered the city to release the disturbing video by Wednesday, but a version was leaded to ABC7 Chicago Eyewitness News on Tuesday morning, so the Chicago police moved up the scheduled release.

The region is averaging two local disaster responses every day.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Red Cross volunteers in the Cascades Region responded to 14 incidents this past weekend, starting Friday evening in southeast Portland and culminating with seven home fire responses on Monday across Clark, Jefferson, Josephine, Lane, Multnomah, Polk and Washington counties.

The Red Cross provided support to more than three dozen people and pets, to meet basic immediate needs such as temporary lodging, food, medical support, clothing and personal hygiene items.

(SALEM, Ore.) - The suspect entered the store and walked around for a short time before approaching the pharmacy. He produced a note demanding narcotics and indicated he had a weapon, although no weapon was actually seen.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, wearing a dark colored welder style hat, sunglasses and dark clothing.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Eldar Mahmudov, who was been stripped of ministry by decree of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, has been placed under house arrest.

Alyiev dismissed Mahmudov after his return from a recent trip to Russia. As reported by Musavat news center, Russian Intelligence had revealed confidential documents about Mahmudov secretly assisting Israeli Intelligence.

Salem Police Conclude Heroin Investigation with Arrest

Heroin use and it's peddlers are a scourge on Salem.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Following weeks of investigation, the Salem Police Department's Street Crimes Unit arrested 50-year old John Wills Jr. for distributing heroin.

Detectives stopped Wills at Lancaster and State St during a traffic stop Thursday at about 8:30 PM and took him into custody. He was armed with a loaded handgun at the time of his arrest.
