The SL military has carried out massive house-to-house search operations summoning former LTTE members, their families, friends and relatives.

(MELBOURNE) - Tamil arrest While the discussion in the UNHRC on the resolution on Sri Lanka is going on, arrests of Tamils are also proceeding on unabated under the guise of the LTTE are now regrouping themselves.

Anybody who wants their lost loved ones back, is described as an ex-LTTE. The 13 year old Vibooshika fell into this category and is now retained in a government home. It is the international scrutiny that has spared her; otherwise, she may not have lived to see the day.

Have You Seen Me? Salem Woman Missing

UPDATE: April Kondash has been located, and is safe.

(SALEM) - April Harden 42-year old April Harden Kondash has been listed as a Missing Person in Salem, Oregon. She left a message on facebook that lead family and friends to believe she is depressed and may be at risk.

This is very out of the ordinary, and concern is increasing.

She may be driving a white 4-door 2000 Pontiac Sunfire license XBG 787, with the center of the hubcaps missing. She has a bumper sticker in the back window that says, "Well behaved women rarely make history".

April is a merchandiser for Coremark and a doll ("Salem Blondie") for the Modified Dolls Oregon Chapter.

Man Pleads Guilty in Woodburn Stabbing Incident

Juan Torres-Santizo was sentenced to 8 months in jail with post prison supervision of 36 months.

(SALEM) - Juan Torres-Santizo Juan Torres-Santizo pled guilty to Attempted Assault in the Second Degree yesterday, March 25, 2014, before Judge Dale W. Penn in Marion County Circuit Court. The charge arose out of a fight at an apartment complex located at 1590 James Street, Woodburn, Oregon on August 4, 2014. Although the defendant attempted to stab Antonio Segundo, the victim was unharmed.

Juan Torres-Santizo was sentenced to 8 months in jail with post prison supervision of 36 months. He is currently being held in custody as a material witness in a companion case against Mateo Torres-Morales.

Update: Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries Sustained in March 22nd Crash - Highway 99W South of Dundee

OSP troopers from the McMinnville and North Plains offices are continuing the investigation.

(NEWBERG) - Fatal crash scene, 3-22-14 Dundee, Or Oregon State Police (OSP) confirmed through the Medical Examiner's office that a 24-year old Newberg man died early Wednesday morning, March 26, at a Portland hospital from injuries sustained Saturday evening in a motorcycle crash on Highway 99W about one mile south of Dundee in Yamhill County.

24-year old Curtis Peterson was critically injured March 22, 2014 at approximately 6:50 p.m., while operating a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Highway 99W near milepost 28.

Polk County Sheriff Makes Additional Reductions

The Polk County Budget Committee meets next week to work on the 2014-2015 budget which begins on July 1, 2014.

(DALLAS) - Polk County Sheriff`s Office car Polk County Sheriff Bob Wolfe announced additional reductions in patrol hours from 20 hours a day to 10 hours a day due to budget and staffing reductions.

"My overtime budget is less than 6% for the remainder of this budget cycle which ends in June and I have received notification from another deputy who has accepted a conditional job offer making this the fourth deputy to leave in the last two months" stated Sheriff Bob Wolfe.

Officers and deputies made unannounced visits to locations where court release agreements restricted the presence of specific domestic violence offenders.

(SALEM) - Police lights The Salem Police Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) teamed up with deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office Parole and Probation Division on the evening of March 21 to conduct a domestic violence offender compliance and victim safety sweep.

Eight Salem police officers and a Salem Police domestic violence victim advocate partnered with nine Marion County deputies to conduct the release agreement compliance sweep of known domestic violence offenders.
